About Jan Kooiman

Jan Kooiman holds a doctoraal (Master degree) in Business Economics from the University of Amsterdam. He worked for an accounting and audit firm before stepping into the professional as CFO and Board member of an international company. Jan is a qualified transactional Six Sigma Black Belt and Instructor, and is adjunct Professor of Finance, Business and Accounting at the Webster University, teaching MBA Corporate Finance and Management Accounting. He is also the program manager and acknowledged Subject Matter Expert of the Certified Management Accounting (CMA) program at the World Trade Center Amsterdam. Jan combines business experience and thought leadership with the rigor of academic discipline. Jan holds the professional position of VP Financial Business Process Improvement at Genpact Netherlands. Specialties: Corporate Finance and Management Accounting, Financial Six Sigma Black Belt and Qualified Trainer, IFRS Specialist, CFO Counseling, IMA CMA acknowledged Subject Matter Expert. On a regular basis Jan is lecturing courses within the ICT in Business programme of Leiden Institute of Advanced Computer Science (LIACS) of Leiden University, The Netherlands.
